Giving people a place to stay – you’ll master this classic job with heart, great organizational skills, commercial expertise and smart ideas.

With more than 350 beds, the Nuremberg Youth Hostel in the imperial stables of the castle is one of the largest and economically strongest in Bavaria. Together with your 50-strong team, you make unforgettable stays possible for school classes, conference guests and families in modern rooms behind historic walls.

Your profile:


  • Completed training in the hotel and catering industry or relevant degree (e.g. tourism management, hotel management)

  • Extensive professional experience in accommodation, communal catering or comparable areas

  • Several years of experience as a manager of a comparable establishment with strong leadership skills and a sure instinct

  • (Regional) market knowledge paired with sales skills

  • Organizational strength, solution orientation and economic thinking

  • Service orientation with a feel for a wide variety of guest groups

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
