Versatility is your great talent and you want the same from your job? As a Junior Touristic Staff & Shops Coordination Manager (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you can expect more than just a varied job in the Touristic Staff team – you can also immerse yourself in the world of seafaring!
- Supporting the scheduling of employees in the Touristic Staff and Shop teams on board cruise ships
- Planning the staffing of the travel assistance team (responsible for accompanying passengers on arrivals and departures)
- Close cooperation with the customer and the sea chefs crewing team in Cyprus
- Supporting the crew with their concerns
- Organization of visas and certificates
- review of travel expenses
- Recruitment of store and touristic staff on board including creation and updating of job advertisements
- Selection of applicants including all administrative activities
- Implementation of coordinated marketing measures, research and placement of job advertisements on job portals
- Participation in trade fairs and information events to maintain contacts and recruit employees
- Developing new ideas for employee recruitment and retention
Your course & your talents
What you bring with you:
- Completed vocational training or studies in the fields of tourism, hotel management or with a background in human resources management
- Professional experience on cruise ships is an advantage
- Independent and structured way of working, flexibility and organizational skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, reliability and integrity
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
- Good general knowledge and good manners
